When preparing for a shoot with a client, we sit on the phone to discuss the shoot we are about to do. Once the ideas start to flow and I can see their vision, we create a mood board as soon as possible.

whether it be in the studio or on location. Fasion, Beauty or Avant Garde.

I aways start small and then lets loose with my ideas, describing the look and location the client may want. For this shot, I was thinking flowers in the hair in lots of different colours. As you can see there is a wig, to fasten the flowers to.

For this shoot we used one of our favourite models – Sarah-Jane Snow. We knew that with her elegance and style she would be able to pull it off. Sarah and I confirm the date, the style of the shoots, the outfit and location

On the day of the shoot, Sarah came to mine and then followed me in her car. One hour and 45 minutes later we arrived at the location.

Getting the correct makeup artist, model and location is what was needed for this shoot. The makeup artist created this masterpiece. The end result was an OMG moment!! The creation was sublime. Carry on reading guys and you will see what I mean.

The next stage is makeup. The Makeup artist got the look down to a T, which is soft and beautiful, so that it doesn’t overpower the hair styling of flowers. When the makeup was finished, we headed over church and field. A beautiful setting. The field had long grass with hidden butterflies everywhere that flew off as you approached them. Against the grey break of the church, the colours looked so vivid. What did you think?
